Captain Gus has hand picked a team
of fishing guides and charter boat captains that ensure
your next lake or offshore fishing trip will be fun filled
and exciting. Captain Craig and Mac know Lake Norman like
the back of their hand. Each guide has spent years fishing
it, while learning all of the many nooks and crannies
that fish might locate in. Both, are accomplished anglers
that have amassed years of knowledge while fishing southern
freshwater impoundments.
Each has their individual fishing style:
Licensed Lake Guide, Mac Byrum specializes in catfish, but
fishes for stripers whenever he can. Captain Craig Price's
first love is the striped bass, but has snagged his share
of catfish over the years. Both use state of the art electronics
to assist them in locating and catching trophy fish.
Drew Montgomery is an accomplished bass
fisherman who specializes in bass fishing on Lake Norman.
Maynard Edwards fishes for stripers, bass and catfish on
the Yadkin River Chain.
Captain Rick Rodriguez of Gulf Grouper
Offshore Charters has been plying the coastal waters of Florida
since the late 1970's. Gus has personally seen Capt. Rick
lead clients to trophy tarpon, bonefish, trout, redfish, grouper,
snapper and a variety of dangerous sharks. Today, Capt. Rick
specializes in catching gulf grouper that locate just offshore
from his homeport in Hernando Beach, Fla. Capt. Rick's friendly
personality, fishing knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport
combined to make every Gulf Grouper Charter enjoyable.
Oregon Inlet, Charter Boat Captain, Shannon
Miller fishes the deep Atlantic waters for the various migratory
fish that swim off the Carolina coast. Stripers, tuna, mackerel,
dolphin and bull reds are just a few of the species his clients
catch throughout the year. Capt. Miller puts his heart and
soul into every fishing trip.
