Creek Bank Bait Tanks.Creek Bank Bait Tanks were designed with you the fisherman in mind. We didn't want to build "just another bait tank." We figured that it was time you spent more time fishing and less time messing with your bait tank. These tanks are the result of years of research and development and are filled with features that will result in better bait and make your time on the water more productive.

We're not going to tell you that "we have the most advanced tanks on the market today" like everyone else. Check out the features, talk to some people using them, and try one out. Most tanks on the market will keep bait alive to some extent. The question is how hard do you want to work at it and what condition is the bait in.

Creek Bank Bait Spa

Maybe your just starting out with live bait and not sure if you want to spend the money on a tank just yet. Maybe you could use a second tank but can’t justify it right now. Take a look at the Creek Bank Bait Spa. It might just be what you are looking for.The Bait Spa is a self-contained unit with a pump, filter, and aerator. It was designed to be a multi purpose unit. Small enough to use in a 5 gallon bucket and efficient enough to use in a 55 gallon drum. Use it in just about any container from a cooler to a live well. Use it to keep bait, transfer bait, or keep your catch alive.

Unlike most aerator units with a filter, the Bait Spa actually takes debris out of the water and doesn't just filter water for the pump. The filter compartment is based on our patented tank filter design. The filter material is oriented vertically, with a space between the filter material and the housing, allowing the heavy debris to fall to the bottom, adding capacity to the filter.

At almost 50 square inches of filter surface area, it has as much, if not more, filtering capacity as most other full size bait tanks.

The aerator is the same system that we use in our bait tanks. A 360 GPH Rule pump pushes the water through the aerator and millions of tiny bubbles are forced into the water. Air stones and bubblers look good, but the bubbles immediately float to the surface. The longer an air bubble stays in the water, the more air is absorbed by the water. A wedge molded into the housing in front of the aerator outlet, breaks up the flow making it easier on your bait.

The Bait Spa was originally designed for short-term bait keeping, up to 24 hours. But in testing with our Pro-Staff, they were able to keep bait for several days. Works in fresh and salt water and for bait as well as your catch.

The cut away view of the Bait Spa will give you an idea of how it works. Water is sucked into the unit through the suction screens on the outside. The water then enters the unit and the heavy debris will fall to the bottom of the container, and the light debris will be trapped in the filter sleeve. The pump then picks up the filtered water and forces it through the aerator, which mixes millions of tiny air bubbles with the water, and returns it into the holding tank.

Right: A back view shows the 6' power cord and the 3' air hose, as well as the aerator water outlet.
